Flying University: fully alert
On Friday, September 13, new 2013-2014 curriculum of the Flying University has been presented in Minsk.
Gallery U, where by tradition the presentation took place, has given everyone perfect possibility to feel the atmosphere of real university life; first of all, through the discussions themselves, but also physically, as no one promised that conditions for studies would be extremely comfortable. It is for the fourth year that the Flying University doesn’t have its own lecture halls, departments, which, however, fails to scare new listeners. The Flying University is an unconventional creative structure, aimed at broadening the limits of the established frame of education.
As Tatiana Vadalazhskaya, the curator of the Flying University, noted in the interview with the EuroBelarus Information Service, commenting upon the results of the work of the university: “I think we are slowly approaching a phase when at least some people perceive the space of the Flying University as a space where we break down stereotypes and try to find new approaches. A significant result for me is that the Flying University is becoming a platform for changes.”
To find out what helps to fulfill these changes and how it is possible to participate in the process of stereotypes’ breakdown or just meet smart people, we suggest to visit the website of the Flying University.
You can also submit your application for participation in the courses and seminars. Let us recall that the deadline for applications is September 27.
EuroBelarus Information Service expresses thanks to ampby.org and Mikhas Matusevich personally for the submitted photos.
