International Conference "Strategies for the Future Policy towards Belarus"

EESC and the German-Belarusan Society (dbg) under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, are hosting an international conference on “Strategies for the Future Policy towards Belarus”.

The official opening of the event on the 28th of October will be followed by expert discussions on the 29th of October in Vilnius.

The aim of the event in the run-up to the Eastern Partnership Summit is to develop different options of the future policy towards Belarus by strategic debate with experts, politicians and representatives of civil society and economy from the EU and Belarus, see EESC. Among the topics dealt with will be the current state of EU-Belarus relations and the perspectives for political dialogue between Belarus and the EU.

The conference invited the chairman of the International Consortium “EuroBelarus” Ulad Vialichka and director of the Centre for European Transformation Andrei Yahorau.
