“CHOICE-Belarus” received 60 applications from civic and cultural initiative groups
The coordination team of “CHOICE-Belarus: Legacy and modernity” is plunging into analytic work: during a few weeks of application process it received 60 applications for participation in the project.
We sincerely thank all applicants for the interest to the “CHOICE: Cultural Heritage — Opportunity for Civic Engagement” project!
The team of coordinators and a special board have big work over evaluation of the received ideas on protection and rethinking Belarus’ cultural legacy ahead. The topics and formats of potential projects are very diverse: from archeological summer schools to multimedia catalogues and open professional schools. Some projects are devoted to the cultural legacy of ethnical minorities in Belarus. Few projects have international scale.
Other countries-partners of the project — Ukraine, Moldova, and Armenia — received the following proportionally equal number of applications: 136, 30, and 30 accordingly.
The results of assessments of Belarusan projects will be announced on November 16.
